Finally catching up on blog posts...Here are some pictures of the zoo we went to while visiting my parents.
Feeding the birds....Henry REALLY wanted to hold the stick with the food, but when all the birds swarmed him he changed his mind.
Henry thought it was great fun to pet all the goats. At first he scared one by running up to it so I tried to explain that he needed to walk so they would know he was there and be gentle, etc. From that point on he walked around waving and saying Hi to all the goats before petting them.
My mom and I felt bad for this goat. It was hot and there were lots of kids wanting to pet her, but she looks quite uncomfortable.
Train ride
Feeding the giraffes is a MUST for my mom and Henry thought it was fun until...
the BIG DAD giraffe came up behind him and startled him. On a side note, his tongue is the longest and most disgusting thing ever!
