Despite Henry's influence, Anne is a total girl. She loves to carry dolls around, hug pictures of teddy bears, has recently started wearing purses, talking on the phone, and LOVES her Dad. She will also spend a lot of time pushing her doll stroller around and doesn't care what is in the stroller, as long as she has something to push around. Lately she has been taking food off the shelf, giving it a ride, and then giving another food item a turn.
I also want to report that Anne has attempted to say something! This is a total breakthrough since she doesn't try to repeat most words and really only says Mama. While reading Oh the wonderful sounds Mr. Brown can do, Anne repeated knock, knock. Of course it didn't really sound like knock, but it's a start! I'm crossing my fingers that more words come soon.
