If you look close you can see that it does in fact lead you to Wal-Mart...one of the few places to shop. Maybe it does serve a purpose after all.

Where's the water??
So there is a random lighthouse in the middle of Cedar City...we never figured out why it was there or if it ever served a purpose as it is not near any sort of water. Just right in the middle of dry earth. I had to take a picture before we left so everyone could see the lighthouse.

When I first moved to Cedar, I took pictures and wrote about the crazy lighthouse too. One of my new friends who lived in Cedar commented and said it is the largest landlocked lighthouse ever. I still don't know who decided to put it there and why, but it's kind of cool (and bizarre).
