Henry was able to go to a big brother class at the Hospital and learned all about his little sister that will be coming. He had a great time at the class and brought home lots of things for him and the baby. He colored on some bibs, got to take home a diaper (he learned how to change the baby's diaper), got a coloring book and most importantly he got a button to wear when she's born that says 'Henry is an official big brother'. He really likes the button and asks to wear it a lot. He has told both Pete and I that he learned that you can't touch the baby's eyes. He has also told me he'll be able to pick her up and hold her and that you can't push the baby. He made sure to let the teacher know that it's not a little sister, but a baby that is coming to our house. Part of the class is just for the kids, so I didn't get to see everything that happened, but the teacher did let me know that our baby would be very loved by Henry.
The other exciting part of the class was being able to go up to the labor and delivery floor to see where the baby would be born. He knows that you need to find the 'eligator' with the A on it and then go to #4 at the 'hostible' to see the baby.
We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of this little girl and just need to wait 3-7 weeks.
