Anne turns 2

Anne had her birthday 5 days after Mae was born. I made sure to have her gifts ready to go early, but am grateful she didn't really know or understand her birthday was coming because it was a low-key celebration. We had hot dogs for dinner (always a favorite in our house) and had some soda. For an extra special treat we went out for ice cream. Anne ate just a few bites and had much more fun throwing napkins into the trash can. It was funny watching her get so excited about throwing things out.

Anne needed a little help getting started on her presents, but quickly had it mastered. She also kept saying, No, mine and I want. That means she liked what she got and I think she enjoyed the whole birthday experience.

One very happy girl!
