I was really wanting to have a cookout for Mothers Day this year. Not sure why, but I guess I was just ready to kick off the summer grilling season. I was planning to do it on Saturday night, but mother nature decided she wanted to have a storm with 1 1/2-2 inch hail. Sunday was a nice day and we had our cookout and went for a family walk. Pete also made banana pancakes for me for breakfast.
Henry made a card for me at church and made a necklace and card at preschool. He was very excited about his gift and was so happy that I could wear it to church. The card from school made me laugh. He did a great job with most of the responses, which is why it's so funny to me.
