Henry had a fantastic first year of school as well as a fantastic teacher. She was a great fit for Henry and really helped Henry to learn and grow. Here are some pictures from his awards day and his last day of school. On to first grade!

Henry received 6 awards- 3 reading awards (Pizza Hut bookit, Missouri reading circle, super reader- read more than 1,000 minutes during the school year), 2 behavior awards (less than 20 safe seats or time outs, no safe seats). I found it interesting that they gave almost all the kids both of these awards. Seemed a bit repetitive to me. His final award was his personal award from his teacher. She gave him the Star Reader award. He got a medal made of starbursts and was very excited to eat the candy.
