Anne turns 6!

Anne was really looking forward to her birthday and was worried we wouldn't tell her when it was. She kept telling me to make sure she knew when it was the day before her birthday and not to forget to tell her. A calendar didn't help- she did NOT want her day to pass by unnoticed.

Since her birthday was on a Saturday she chose to have scrambled eggs for breakfast, grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch, and ravioli with salad for dinner. For dessert she chose chocolate cake with pink frosting and Neapolitan ice cream. She loved having the day to play with her new things and relax (school is just too exhausting).

Anne is my imaginative and creative kiddo. She will sit and play for hours and hours and loves to tell stories. She is mostly enjoying Kindergarten and I'm counting that as a huge success!! Happy Birthday, Anne Marie!
