We decided to get the girls bunk beds. I didn't really want to get any because I am worried about safety and Mae's monkey like behavior, but they way their room is it seemed like the best option. Pete decided he wanted to build the bunk beds. They are patterned after the This End Up bunk beds that we like but were going to cost almost $300 just to ship to our house. It was a long process that really taxed the girls patience, but they are thrilled with the final product. For now, they have agreed to rotate who gets to sleep in the top bunk. The top bunk has been the coveted location for the last week- they want to change their clothes up there, color there, read there. It is the newest hang out spot.
Pete is such an amazing Dad- after getting the bunk beds all set up in their room he also gave them rides around the yard. They were laughing and having fun riding around. Dads are lots of fun and we're so thankful for all that he does for our family.
