Iowa State Fair

I took the kids to the fair this year for the first time. They had fun walking around looking at all the animals and eating some yummy fair food. Henry tried a fried snickers, Anne had cotton candy, and Mae had chocolate ice cream. Lots of fun things to see and they were all tired out by the end of the afternoon.

The girls enjoyed the activities at little hands on the farm. They pretended to garden, take care of chickens, pigs, cows and then were able to 'sell' their goods and buy a snack.
