Henry turns 7!

Henry had a good birthday. He choose pizza, salad and soda for his birthday dinner and brownies for dessert. He wanted to make his own brownies- from a box. The only thing I did, was operate the oven. We renewed his subscription to National Geographic Kids and then gave him an option for what else we could do for his birthday. His three choices were: 1) we would buy him another present, 2) he could go to the store and choose a present, or 3) go bowling as a family. After several days of thinking about it and asking detailed questions about his choices, he decided to go to the store and pick out a present. He looked at some games, but ended up buying a new Lego set. The Lego set has a boat, truck and trailer. He also ended up with a gift card from school (not for his birthday, but he happened to win it near his birthday) and some additional birthday money that he used to buy some hot wheels tracks. He is very happy with his new toys and I'm glad he had a good birthday.
