Henry was very excited for his birthday to come. Since the rest of the family has their birthdays close together he feels like he has to wait a long time for his birthday to come around. This was a special birthday for him as he turned 8 and chose to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Grandpa and Grandma Keenan were able to come for the weekend and many other family members were able to be there for his baptism, which made it extra special.
For his birthday dinner he wanted pizza, chips and cheese balls, root beer and ginger ale. For dessert he wanted New York vanilla ice cream with real hot fudge and sprinkles. He received money, Navy hat and shirt, Lego mug, journal and mechanical pencils, and his own set of scriptures.
It was a great weekend and we are so proud of who Henry is becoming.
