The week before Easter we reviewed the events of Christ's life each day. I like doing this to help keep the kids focused on why we celebrate Easter. I splurged and bought some lamb at the grocery store for dinner and the kids had fun making resurrection rolls. (Dip a marshmallow in butter and cinnamon sugar and then bake inside a roll. The marshmallow 'disappears' in the oven.) It was a great day.
We did something new this year- the kids and I went to Walmart first thing Monday morning to buy our Easter candy half off. The kids had fun being able to pick out their own candy and I had fun, too. Starburst jelly beans were the hardest to find- but I succeeded. We had great weather in April and the kids enjoyed having their egg hunt in the yard.
