Henry is very excited to be finishing the school year. He enjoyed his teacher this year, really loved having science and social studies added to the curriculum, made new friends, and grew quite a bit. Although he had a good year he is ready for summer. He will be participating in a golf camp this year instead of little league baseball. He also has plans for dsic golf, swimming, fishing, bowling, and camping. Our summer calendar is filling up fast, so we will see what we can fit in.
It was hard to take pictures at the end of year awards. Henry received the top dog award (zero safe seats), best in bark (less than 10 safe seats), math whiz (90% or higher math grade), super speller (90% or higher), reading (M or higher reading level), Missouri reading circle (read 20 or more books this year), Pizza hut book it!. His class all voted on individual awards and Henry was thrilled to receive the class comedian award. He loves telling jokes! He was also the only one in his class to get the BookIt! award, which surprised me. He had a great year and a great teacher! Can't believe he will be in 3rd grade next year.
