In September the kids went to a family activity day at the local state park. They were very excited to fish and Henry was able to have some coaching and caught his first fish! He was SO excited to catch a fish. The girls had me as their coach- so they didn't have any luck.
Another station to explore had animals that I really don't like. I think it's safe to say- Mae is the bravest of the bunch! Anne very quickly took her hands off the snake, but she did try it. Henry touched them too- just no pictures. I was focused on Mae- possibly worrying about her safety.
I like having a state park so close to us. I prefer to leave the animals alone and hike. :)
