Stop #3 - Indian Burial Mounds - Toolesboro
Pete noted the irony that we needed to treat the site with respect and not walk on the grass, but that it is mowed.
This stop was not as 'exciting' as I had thought it would be. You can only see two of the seven mounds and I don't know what I was really expecting, but thought it would be a bit more. Still interesting to read about and see, but we want to go and check out a different Indian burial site in another part of the state that is said to be much better.
