Henry has been quite amazed at all the Christmas decorations around town. The first time we went to the mall after the Santa station was set-up Henry had to check it all out. He really doubted the fact that the carrot was the snowman's nose and that he was not eating it, but I think he is finally starting to understand this part of the festivities. He also thought the reindeer were dogs, but he did correctly identify the squirrel. :) Now whenever we go to the mall he has to walk around and look at everything, but we haven't been there when Santa was there so we'll see what he thinks about that.
The first time he saw a Christmas tree this year was as we were walking into Wal-mart one day. He literally walked up to the tree and then sat down and just stared up at the tree in complete awe. After his amazement had worn off a bit he was able to speak and asked me what it was. So then we had to sit there for a bit and let him soak it all in. I was able to get him to leave peacefully by having him wave good bye to the tree, which all the passers-by thought was funny.
We won't be decorating our house until after his birthday so I'll post about that fun and excitement later.
