Christmas

We had a quiet, but wonderful Christmas this year. We were fortunate to be able to spend some time together as a family between Pete's rotations away from home. We went to church and then came home to open some presents. Henry really enjoyed being able to help Anne open her presents as well as open his own. The missionaries and some friends came over for lunch and we had a few presents for the missionaries (food items). Henry was so excited to give them their presents that he was handing them their gifts before they had even come in all the way and had their coats off. Pete was on call and ended up going to see some dairy cows in the afternoon so the rest of the family just enjoyed the peace and quiet of a lovely Christmas. I especially enjoyed the fact that there was no snow on the ground and the unseasonably warm temperatures.

Thanks to everyone who sent us gifts, every year we are grateful for all that we receive.
So happy to have cookie sheets that don't burn my food. Thanks Melissa!!

These are for Mom, not Henry.
