National Public Gardens Day

A couple weeks ago was National Public Gardens Day and you could get free admission to several gardens all over the US. Thanks to a friend of ours letting us know, I took the kids over to Reiman gardens to see the Lego sculptures (and some gardens). It was a lot of fun looking at everything and we didn't get to see all of the sculptures as Anne had had enough, but we did enjoy our morning outing. The sculptures are really cool and totally impressive. Here's a link to learn more about the exhibit and the artist. http://www.reimangardens.iastate.edu/en/sculptures_built_with_lego_bricks/

I thought it was fun to see the goose on the Lego lilly pad

Henry waiting for his turn
As you step on this it sounds like a wind chime. Henry had a blast jumping all over it.

So excited to be able to touch the lawn mower.
