Zion National Park

We spent the day at Zion National Park and Pete and I both would like to spend much more time there as there are tons of trails and sights to see. Since we are trying to go to as many places as possible we just did two short walks/hikes and will have to come back another time. The first walk we did was called Weeping Rock and water literally seeps out of the rocks like it is raining. It was hard to get good pictures of this, but here are the best ones. As you can see, the rocks have growth on them from all the water.

A funny picture of me standing in the 'rain'.

The second walk we did was the riverside walk. It is a nice path along a river and when you get to the end, if you have the proper equipment on, you can hike for a few miles in the water. It is at the top of the canyon and when you walk in the river the sides of the canyon get so close that you can almost touch both sides. We stayed on the path and had a wonderful time. Here you can see the water behind me.

  1. Yep, we love Zion N.P. The boys think Weeping Rock is just awesome. And I have never been to the Narrows at the top! I will have to do that next time we go.
