Anne is 3!

Anne was so excited for her birthday. She had been playing a birthday game for weeks where we would take turns pretending it was our birthday. We would sing Happy Birthday, eat pretend cake and open presents (books or toys wrapped up in her blanket). Then Mae had birthday presents to open a few days before her and she was not real happy about it. When at long last her special day arrived she was very happy. At first she couldn't believe it was true and was telling me that she was still 2 and it wasn't her birthday yet. After she was able to chose her special birthday dinner (hot dogs and hamburgers, no sides) and dessert (chocolate cake with purple frosting) she was convinced that her birthday had finally arrived.

Here are some fun things about Anne:

• 29 lbs and 37 1/2 inches
• Favorite princess is Princess Sofia. She is slowly getting introduced to some of the 'original' princesses.
• Favorite color is purple
• Loves to drink water- her water bottle is refilled several times a day and she is always needing more to drink. 
• When playing dress-up she will often look in the mirror and declare herself beautiful, pretty or cute. 
• Will happily play by herself for a long time- just needs some of her 'friends'
• Really enjoys playing outside, reading books, being a kitchen helper, singing
• Loves to follow everything that Henry does- monkey see, monkey do
• Has bread and butter for lunch almost every day. 
• Likes to have her nails painted and accessorize her outfits.
